Notes from Dawra-e-Quran

Dreams… Intentions… aims… all are important but what really matters is the amount of effort we put in to really achieve these ambitions.

Sometimes we are so busy thinking of doing things that we are not left with any energy or time to actually do those things which we dream of doing.

The true believer is not only conscious of what is to be done with his time but is equally alert to save himself from things which he should not do… that is why he will not lower his standard of manners at any cost and will continue to behave with the best akhlaaq at all times. Because he realizes the value of his hard-earned good deeds and will not waste these by reacting negatively to every little irritation that comes his way. And he is not overly disturbed even when hardship knocks at his door because he knows that patience and endurance will take him even more close to Allah’s love and pleasure. This attitude is what makes him really free to do the things that need to be done because his energy is not wasted on non issues…
